Who we are

KF Consultancy is a financial insight and commercial decision support consultancy for business owners, founded by Kiran Fakhira. This notice explains how we collect, use and protect personal information when you contact us or enquire about our services.

What we collect

When you get in touch through our enquiry form or by email, we collect the information you choose to give us — typically your name, business name, email address, phone number (if provided) and the details of your enquiry.

We do not use analytics, tracking cookies or advertising cookies on this website, so we do not collect data about your browsing behaviour.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide only to:

• respond to your enquiry and discuss whether our services are a good fit for your business; and
• correspond with you if you go on to engage KF Consultancy for a discovery call or a service.

We do not use your information for marketing you haven't asked for, and we do not sell or share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Our legal basis for processing

We process your enquiry details on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries you have made, and, where relevant, to take steps you have requested before entering into an agreement with us.

How your enquiry reaches us

Depending on how you submit our enquiry form, your details are sent to us either directly by email, or processed and stored on our behalf by our website hosting provider's form-handling service (Netlify), which also applies automated spam filtering to submissions. This may involve your information being processed outside the UK, subject to that provider's applicable data-protection safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you, and only for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with service providers who help us run this website or communicate with you (such as our website hosting or email providers), only to the extent needed for that purpose and under their own confidentiality and data protection obligations.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have certain rights over your personal information. Which of these apply, and in what circumstances, depends on the lawful basis we're relying on and the details of your situation. These can include the right to:

• ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct inaccurate information;
• ask us to delete your information, in certain circumstances;
• ask us to restrict how we use your information, in certain circumstances; and
• ask for your information to be provided to you, or to another organisation, in a portable format — this right applies only where it is legally applicable (broadly, where processing is automated and based on your consent or on a contract with you).

Right to object. Because we process your enquiry details on the basis of our legitimate interests (see "Our legal basis for processing" above), you have the right to object to that processing at any time. If you object, we will stop unless we have compelling legitimate grounds to continue, or need to continue in order to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.
